My name is Mrs. Bowen and I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade ELAR this year!! This will be my 25th year teaching.  I taught Kindergarten for many years, moved up to 1st grade, taught 3rd grade for a number of years and now have the privilege to teach 5th. I have been married to Mr. Bowen for 24 years.  Mr. Bowen is a strategy consultant for an outsource technology company that specializes in working with churches.  We have 4 children; Benjamin (20), graduated from Concordia and is working as an estimator in mitigation for a construction company. Sarah (17), is a Senior at Concordia and coaches peewee soccer at Uscore.   Luke (15), is a Sophmore at Concordia and Leah (13), is in 8th grade, here at Trinity.  

We love to spend time with our family and friends.  Some of our favorite family activities are road trips, hiking, camping, playing games and watching movies.  Our game nights can be quite competitive!  Our favorite movies to watch include Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter and many more.

I am so excited for the school year to start. You will be learning a lot of fun things this year!  

We are a running family.  I coach cross country in the fall and track in the spring.  All of our children have run cross country in the past.  Currently, two of them run XC and three of them run track.  Mr. Bowen isn't a runner, but he is our biggest fan!
